Creating new branch from another branch
I have a project that has a master branch and two other branches. Both of them have a published version. I want to make sure that before merging the published version to master, I have the two branches merged to master, so that when publishing the version in the two branches, I can be sure to merge to master.
I've tried merging the two branches to master using the git merge command, but it doesn't seem to work.
I can't create a new branch, because it will take the two published versions with it, and when I merge, I have to merge two versions, and there is a conflict.
Is there a better way to do this?

You need to merge the 2 branches to master one by one.
For example,
git checkout master
git merge branch1
git merge branch2
